In my role with Helping Seniors (Pomagamy Seniorom), an organization that mobilizes over 200 volunteers to assist elderly individuals with various tasks such as transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, medication delivery, and minor repairs, I developed the branding and website for the organization. By working closely with both volunteers and seniors, I identified a significant challenge: the need to coordinate micro-tasks in a scalable and efficient manner.
Recognizing the increasing demand for support in an aging society, I envisioned a solution that redefines volunteering. Alongside Magda, the association's president, we developed the concept for an app designed to allow anyone to volunteer by completing small tasks "on the go"—whether they are commuting to work, attending school, or running daily errands.
The Congress of Good Practices was a significant success, celebrated for its insightful discussions, broad participation, and polished execution. It was an honor to contribute to an initiative that highlighted impactful ideas and encouraged meaningful dialogue.
