After ten years of volunteering on weekends at the "Na Paluchu" Shelter, I took the initiative to lead the communication efforts for Warsaw Animal Day. This large-scale event successfully helped hundreds of dogs and cats find new homes. I developed and implemented a comprehensive communication strategy for the event, which included creating a promotional video, designing posters and leaflets, and producing branded giveaways to engage the public effectively.
One of the key highlights of the campaign was the incorporation of the iconic Polish song "Warsaw Dream" by Czesław Niemen, which added emotional depth to the overall message. By coordinating with 140 dedicated individuals, we ensured that the event's message reached a broad audience, attracting over 50,000 visitors and significantly raising awareness about the shelter's mission. This project demonstrated how effective communication and collaboration can amplify the impact of a cause, marking a meaningful conclusion to my decade-long volunteer journey with the shelter.
